PIcARBS to give evidence in Parliament today.
PIcARBS will give a talk at the cross party Parliamentary Group on ADR in the House of Commons today. It will focus on the costs benefits available to Insurers, the MIB and the NHSLA if they get over their inertia about arbitrating claims instead of litigating. The Civil Court system is now very expensive slow and understaffed, horribly out of date with no online court file system and overly focussed on procedural default. Whereas arbitration is less expensive, faster, much more cooperative and the PIcARBS system has revolutionary online e-filing.
The NHSLA are open to arbitration of clinical negligence claims
The NHSLA head of claims and chief executive have confirmed in writing to PIcARBS that they are open to arbitration of clinical negligence claims. Arbitrate and cooperate.
